Importance of Research

 Hi everyone,

In this post, I would like to discuss the importance of research and is it really important to do research for our project or for other things.

To be fair we all know the majority of information we receive every day are positive or negative, it all depends on who is giving us this information and from what source this information is coming from. All of us heard about "fake news" but what "fake news" exactly are?

So fake news is a false story that appears to be news, spread on the internet or using other media, usually created to influence political views or as a joke.

Some of the people around the world after seeing or hearing some of the fake news are going to tell them to other people without doing any research about the information they are sharing to others in some cases it can affect us and others.

So questions I asked myself before this post were:

Why research is so important?

Research can find answers to things that are unknown, filling gaps in knowledge and changing the way that something is working. It's our tool for building our minds and knowledge. It helps us succeed, it's an exercise for our mind and it promotes confidence in reading, writing, or analyzing.

How should we research?  What should we check?

So we can research in different ways but the most common one is to check more than one source. Why we should do that? To check is it not biased and to be able to compare facts between other sources we have checked before, being able to check other sources is giving us the opportunity to be sure about some information we want to know.

How do you know if the source on the internet is reliable?

The easiest way to know if the source we are using is reliable is to check who made a website you want to use or who wrote a book you are using. You can use some internet websites to check if other people trust the source you want to use.

WELCOME IN TERM 3

HI EVERYONE  Thank you for visiting my blog again. My name is Simon Tkacz and I am a student of Media&Communication at De Montfort University in Leicester  My hobby is media, languages, sports, fashion, and music. This blog will focus mainly on things connected with media, art, and photos because I want it to be connected with the subject I am studying. I was interested in media&communication since I was really young I was a commutative kid always ready to discover new things in my life. A few years later I started to find myself in social media, I made a lot of websites, fan pages, or blogs it was really interesting for me. When I grew up I decided to go study in the UK to learn more about it and here I am!  My aim was always to work for some massive media company, communicate with people daily without any problems. Hopefully one day I would be able to work on my own ideas and develop them in the best way possible!

Why have you chosen to do this project? I am interested in photography and I decided that it will be a really good opportunity to try to work with abstract photos, I find it very interesting and really complicated in a good way. I'm interested in different types of photography but I find abstract photos as the most interesting ones. Who are you researching for this project? Please list at least three media produ...
