Research Task: Aaron Siskind

 Hi Everyone,

Today I would like to present you my last research for my media project

Name something you have researched for your project?

I have researched abstract photographer Aaron Siskind

Explain how you researched this?

I looked on the internet for some articles about Abstract Photographer I found some informations about Aaron Siskind and it's quite interesting person. I found some articles about him an his story and how he decided to start doing photography.

What facts did you discover?
- Aaron dedicated himself to photographing details of nature and architecture, with a focus on the texture, lines and patterns.
-Siskind found emotional joy and tension in the process of discovering subjects and photographing them.
-Siskind turned away from the social/political world post-World War II, and instead looked inward to seek meaning in the mostly inanimate forms he observed around him.
-He won many awards for his photography, including a Guggenheim, Fellowship and Distinguished Photography Awards from the Friends of Photography.

What NEW conclusion did you establish?
I haven't found much information to help me deduce anything new, but looking at his photography and style it's something I'll definitely be following for my project, hopefully copying his work a little.

How does it apply to the project?

In my own project I would like to make abstract photos of building and architecture as well so I will have a look at his work and I will try to use some of his skills in my final project.

GSMAREA, (September 25, 2020) "iPhones dominate the top 10 smartphones sold in the US during first week of September" What item I would assign into with my personality? It was the task given to me by one of my tutors. I would definitely be a smartphone.  The smartphone is such a powerful device nowadays, most of us have one or heard about it in their life.  The smartphone these days is like a portable computer device, we can take it with us everywhere we want to, we can use it where we want and however we like to. Because of it, we have access to the internet, calls, and messages 24/7. Personally, I can not imagine my life without a smartphone, having access to everything is a lifesaver. Of course, smartphones are so addictive and it's a big problem especially for young people, they prefer to sit for a whole day on their phones then go out to have fun with their friends or they are meeting with them to play games on their phones but everything with advantages have some ...
