Research Class Exercise


 Name something you have researched in the past for art, design or media 

I have researched information about my favourite photographers Sickamore and Rayscorrupedmind

Explain how you researched this

I choose internet sources and things I knew about them before, I used Instagram to describe how they are creating their photos and to find some nice photos to use them in my blog post. Then I read some articles on internet about them for example which artists they work with or about theirs biggest projects. I wrote some information what is my favourite part about their work.

What facts did you discover?

- Both of them mostly work with US rappers and hip-hop stars 

-Ray had a large share in production for Netflix Documentary "Look Mom I Can Fly"

-Ray also have his own clothing line


What new conclusions did you entablish?

I didn't find out a lot of new things about their private life or about the bigger productions they have been involved in, I found out some new things about both of them and I got more into the style in which they take pictures and what's on them. 



Research INTO my major project
I will research into photography using youtube videos and magazine articles about photos like concert photos, having fun with light, analog effect and flash lights 
There is example of work I talk about 


Also I will look back in history of photography how they invented photos like that and for what reason they used it in past.

    You missed a meeting with and you have clearly not added much in the last two weeks when we last spoke. This is very disappointing. At present you have a large amount of work here to do if you hope to pass this module. At this moment in time you will not pass and you need to turn this around quickly

    You have not posted any work for over two weeks now. As you have not really engaged in your blog you now have much missing. At the moment you are in danger of not passing your assessment. Much effort is needed here as the deadline is approaching rapidly. Please make sure you start adding the work to your blog.

Media Project Plan

 Hi Everyone,  Project Title: ---- Progression Route: Media & Communication BA(Hons) Describe your major project objective using the SMART acronym I will create  a collection of abstract photos of between 6-10 images.   I will develop my photography skills by using my mobile phone with a manual settings app to create abstract images in-camera.  I will then use lightroom or photoshop as quality control before I upload the collection to a gallery on my website with a conceptual introduction.This will be completed by the deadline in mid-march.
